Your business
should be a great place to work.
About
I work with small business owners, emerging HR professionals, and accidental HR managers (you know who you are) to build exceptional work places. I quickly teach you what you need to know about all things HR and personalize best practices to the nuances of your business. You have everything it takes to be the reason your business is a great place to work - and I have the tools to get you there faster. Send me an email inquiry and let’s get started!
Let’s Work Together!
Pick the package that feels right to you or we can mix and match based on your business needs.

The perfect place to start. We’ll sit down for 1-2 sessions and talk through your current HR processes in the context of my HR Audit framework. I’ll synthesize my notes and present a project plan that gives you actionable steps to improve your processes at a reasonable speed. You’ll walk away with a full understanding of what HR is, how your company is doing currently, and what projects you would need to close the gaps.
Great for the business owner or person in charge of HR who just wants to know what they don’t know (i.e. How bad is it??).

A continuation of the HR Audit + Project Plan, let’s get to work! I’ll provide hourly support to move your HR projects forward.

For the scrappy HR professional that just needs a little guidance! Great for people who can get things done but need a little help on the overall strategy. I’m thinking HR Generalists, Operations professionals, general managers, or anyone in charge of HR for their company.
We’ll meet hourly on a regular schedule to train and work through issues in real time.

I’m only a phone call away! Every so often things go sideways and you just need a friend in HR. I’ll point you in the right direction, listen to your problems, and help you resolve your trickiest HR issues. I bill this on a monthly rate so that I can be available to you.

For the job seeker - let me tear into your resume and help you present the best version of yourself on your job search.
$100 gets you a resume consult + 1 hour meeting.

HR: From Necessary Evil to Strategic Edge
I once read that 87% of managers were never taught how to manage and I have remained haunted by this statistic for most of my adult life. And I know what you’re thinking - where did that stat come from? I honestly don’t remember. But you and I both know that managers have been anecdotally “the worst” since the dawn of the industrial revolution (likely before, though I wasn’t there). And don’t we all just love to complain about our boss?
Unfortunately with time, I’ve met more managers and grown to like them as friends. I sadly also became a manager myself. My work with CEOs, business owners, and general managers has brought the devastating conclusion that almost all of these people are very nice with genuinely good intentions. Though the stat holds true that they usually have no idea what they are doing.
I firmly believe that your business can and should be a great place to work with the budget and resources you have right now. I also think it makes perfect sense that your genius is in the product or service you built, not in complex people operations. You deserve to have a few moments where your shoulders are not up by your ears due to stress.
This is where I come in. Whether you are a small business owner or a new HR practitioner, spend a few hours with me and I will teach you what HR is (and what it isn’t). We’ll compare your current HR practices to your mission/vision/values and make sure they align. We’ll map out a project plan that can be executed by you, your brightest administrative staff member, or me (for more $$$, which I’d never complain about). Need ongoing support or training? I love getting coffee and lunch and I have references that confirm I’m fun to hang out with!
Let’s get your people operations where they need to be so that you feel confident, your employees like being at work, AND your business makes more money. Sounds nice, right? I certainly think so.
